Lake Jerome Meyer

Lake Jerome Meyer was born on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 weighing 7 lbs 6 oz and 22 inches in length.

Beach Ottumwa

Some friends of ours invited us to Beach Ottumwa this week. Hannah had such a great time. She could have probably kept going for a couple more hours, but the adults were getting tired and had gotten plenty of sun.

35 weeks and counting

The countdown has begun. We have about thirty-five days left to go. I can tell Josh and the kids are getting more and more anxious. I, on the other hand, realize we still have a lot to do before baby's arrival.

33 1/2 weeks pregnant

For those of my friends who say I haven't been sharing pregnancy pictures, here is one of me with six weeks to go. I went to the doctor today and he is having me have another ultrasound in two weeks since the baby is presenting as large. The good news is he is head down already!

Ft. Myer's, Florida 2008

We decided to take a trip to Ft. Myer's, Florida to visit the grandparents before the baby arrives. The girls loved going to the beach everyday and swimming in the pool. Grandma Jan and Grandpa John really enjoyed the time spent with the girls. Aunt Jodi and Aunt Julie were also there, so that helped make it a little more relaxing.

Haircuts

Meredith has been begging to get her hair cut and Hannah wanted to be in on the action too. It was kind of sad to see all of Meredith's baby hair cut off, but it looks a lot better now. This was quite a drastic change for Hannah who wants to grow her hair down to her feet.

1000 Hills State Park

It has finally been warm enough to go to the lake. The water was still a bit on the chilly side, but was ok as long as you stayed in. Hannah and Meredith loved going on the tube together. I was a nervous wreck with Meredith on the tube, but Josh kept trying to reassure me that she was fine.
